🌀 Clay and Sip: Spin & Sip Wheel Throwing 🍷 Let’s get messy, muddy, and maybe a little cheeky — it’s time to play on the pottery wheel! In this fun night out, you’ll throw down (literally) and make two to three bowls to call your own. Never touched a wheel before? Perfect. We’ll guide you through the spins, wobbles, and magic of shaping clay, all while you sip on your favourite BYO drink. It’s hands-on, it’s hilarious, and it’s the kind of creative chaos that ends with bowls you’ll actually be proud of. Once glazed and fired, they’ll be ready to collect in about four weeks. Sip, spin, and maybe even get a little muddy — the wheel is waiting. Learning the wheel is a patience process, and we don’t expect you to get it in a couple of hours. Experienced wheel throwers spend years perfecting their craft. This class is about having a go and having some fun. You will make a 2- 3 bowls - pick your best 2 and they will be fired for you and glazed in a white glaze. The class is 2 hours. After the class, your masterpieces will be left here to dry slowly, sanded, bisque fired, and hand glazed in a white glaze and fired again Ready for collection in approximately 5-6 weeks. What to bring: BYO nibbles and sips. Glasses are provided. A Towel Short nails :) Firing Fees: All materials and firing fees are included. Pottery Breakage Clay is a fickle medium- I take great care in looking after all students pieces- but the nature of Pottery is that it can break for many reasons. No refunds are provided in the unfortunate event that your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln. Pottery is a very delicate process. Refunds Please note that by purchasing this ticket you are securing a spot at an event that is usually booked out. I do not refund for cancellations. I will only refund in the event of a Covid Lockdown. If you cannot make it- you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
