Clay and Sip - Make Cups and Saucers
Monday 27 July 6:30pm
Available spots
Relax and unwind with friends, or come along solo and connect with like-minded creatives in this warm and welcoming pottery experience. In this hands-on class, you’ll be guided through the beautiful, mindful process of hand building as you create two mugs with matching saucers from clay. With groovy tunes playing and tea or wine in hand, you’ll slow down, switch off, and truly enjoy the rhythm of working with clay. The class runs for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your design, skill level, and pace. I never rush anyone, so you are free to take your time, settle into the process, and enjoy every moment. After the class, your pieces will stay in the studio to dry slowly and properly. They will then be carefully refined, bisque fired, and hand glazed in a timeless white before their final firing. Your finished pieces will be ready for collection in approximately 3 to 4 weeks. A relaxed, creative experience and something handmade to treasure for years to come.materials and firing fees are included. Pottery Breakage Clay is a fickle medium- I take great care in looking after all students pieces- but the nature of Pottery is that it can break for many reasons. No refunds are provided in the unfortunate event that your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln. Pottery is a very delicate process. Refunds Please note that by purchasing this ticket you are securing a spot at an event that is usually booked out. I do not refund for cancellations. I will only refund in the event of a Covid Lockdown. If you cannot make it- you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
