Bring a bottle and some nibbles or sip on T2 tea for this relaxing workshop. Listen to a bit of the BeeGees and Stevie Nicks as we learn the gentle and slow process of hand-building with clay. I will guide you through the steps of working with clay and learning some basic skills to make a slab built Pitcher/ Jug . You will make one Pitcher which will be left here to dry slowly. I will then sand them smooth, bisque fire, then glaze in a clear glaze and then fire again. Pick up your masterpiece in approximately 4 weeks. Class duration is roughly 1.5- 2 hours. What to bring: BYO nibbles and sips. Glasses are provided. Firing Fees: All materials and firing fees are included. Pottery Breakage Clay is a fickle medium- I take great care in looking after all students pieces- but the nature of Pottery is that it can break for many reasons. No refunds are provided in the unfortunate event that your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln. Pottery is a very delicate process. Refunds Please note that by purchasing this ticket you are securing a spot at an event that is usually booked out. I do not refund for cancellations. I will only refund in the event of a Covid Lockdown. If you cannot make it- you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
