Come join the Christmas Festivities! Grab your friends and a bottle of wine ( or T2 tea provided) for this relaxing workshop. As we listen to Christmas Carols we will glaze away at an old fashioned ceramics class. . I will guide you through the steps of working with ceramics and learning some basic glazing skills to glaze a Christmas Tree Tea Light Holder. You will start with 1 slip cast Christmas tree with separate tea light holder base which you will sand, and paint with underglazes Your masterpieces will be left here to be fired in the kiln. Pick up your tree in approximately one week - just in time to display with a tealight for Christmas! Class duration is roughly 1.5- 2.5 hours. This will depend on your skill level and speed. I never rush anyone- so take your time and enjoy the process. House size 18cm x 11cm and will shrink slightly in the kiln. What to bring: BYO nibbles and sips. Glasses are provided. Firing Fees: All materials and firing fees are included. Pottery Breakage Clay is a fickle medium- I take great care in looking after all students pieces- but the nature of Pottery is that it can break for many reasons. No refunds are provided In the unfortunate event that your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln. Pottery is a very delicate process. Refunds Please note that by purchasing this ticket you are securing a spot at an event that is usually booked out. I do not refund for cancellations. I will only refund in the event of a Covid Lockdown. If you cannot make it- you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
